New in Bangalore? Parea is a Small Group Meetup with Real Things to Do in Bengaluru for 4–6 People

Parea
We know a few plans. We know a few people. We think they belong together.

Parea brings together small groups of 4–6 people around simple city plans — so something ordinary can become a conversation, a table, and a reason to feel more at home.

Small by design — enough for energy, small enough for everyone to be remembered.

The cafe you saved for a good day.

The film you wanted to see on a real screen.

The dinner reservation you just booked.

The street food trail you've been meaning to walk.

The match you didn't want to watch alone.

The night you forgot to check the time.

Why we keep it small

Five at a table is a conversation. Fifty is a panel.

In a crowd, it is easy to be present without feeling included.

Parea keeps every group to 4–6 people — a few people, one conversation, and enough room for everyone to be part of it.

What this is not

Some things it helps to say plainly.

  • notDating.
  • notNetworking.
  • notAnother group chat that slowly goes silent.

No pressure to impress, pitch, flirt, or turn it into something more.

Just a small plan, a few people, and enough ease to show up as you are.

Safety & comfort

Built for comfort, not chaos.

Every Parea group is reviewed before it is formed.

For now, we are starting with same-gender groups.

Every plan happens in a public place.

No random open groups. No one is added without confirmation.

Groups are small, time-bound, and guided by clear boundaries — so saying yes feels easier.

How it works

Five steps. Nothing more than necessary.

  1. Apply with a short form. Tell us what kind of plans you would actually show up for.

  2. We review, match, and form small groups manually.

  3. You will receive the plan details before the meetup.

  4. If it helps you feel more comfortable, you can bring a plus-one — just let us know before the group is formed.

  5. Then you show up, meet a few people, and let the plan unfold.

For now, Parea is small and manually curated. That is the point.

Why Parea
pa-RAY-ah
Greek · noun
παρέα

Parea is a Greek word for the small group of people you gather with — to eat, talk, wander, laugh, and simply be.

We loved it because it names something many of us are missing in cities: not a crowd, not an event, not a network — just a few people to share life with.

Bengaluru is open

If this feels like yours, pull up a chair.
